ABTC Officers and Directors are elected annually for staggered terms of two years for officers and directors, and every four years for AKC Delegate. The most recent election is for terms commencing July 1, 2010.

The Nominating Committee proposed the following slate of officers and directors:

• President:  Teresa Nash (KS)
• Vice-President: Lynne Wetherell (FL)
• Membership & Public Relations Secretary: Karri Higgins (IA)
• Directors(2):
  • Sandi Weldon (CA) 
  • Kathy Kraft (NY) 

Recording Secretary, Beth Walker; Treasurer, Susan Harris ; and Directors JoAnna Rizzo and Pat Weymouth, will be serving their second years of their two year terms. AKC Delegate: Janina Laurin will serve the fourth year of her four-year term.

Nominations from the Membership must be received by the Secretary on or before February15, signed by 5 members in good standing (no e-mails). If no additional nominations are received, the candidates nominated by the Nominations Committee shall be declared elected without ballot.

Ballots, if necessary, must be mailed by March 1. They must be returned to the Recording Secretary with receipt by March 30. Ballots will be counted and results announced at the Annual Meeting.
